What you'll be doing
This position is one of a number of support positions within the Research Office. The Research Ethics and Governance Support Officer will work with other Research Office staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all administrative services and research facilities. All staff in the Research Office are expected to work flexibly to achieve urgent priorities as required.The Research Office provides support to researchers across the Network based at both Westmead and Randwick.
- Experience providing senior administrative support in a highly regulated environment, such as research or corporate governance.
- High level administrative support and organisational skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in an environment of competing demands.
- Proven high level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including experience liaising with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high levels of workload and prioritise competing work demands whilst ensuring attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge or understanding of the health and medical research environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a wide variety of electronic document management systems and web-based programs; for example, TRIM, Microsoft Excel, Access.
