This Administrative Assistant position provides clerical support to the Physiotherapy, OT and Child Life and Music therapy departments.  Based at the reception desk there is a strong customer focus with direct contact with children and families coming to the department as well as contacting via telephone.

What you'll be doing
 

This position works within the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Child Life and Music Therapy departments.  The role involves responsibility for the electronic scheduling of patients using the electronic scheduling system.  It also involves general receptionist and clerical duties as delegated by the departments.  The position involves regular contact with children and families presenting to the departments at the reception desk. 

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a clerical role with direct involvement with clients/consumers and preferably in a health or medical context. Experience receptionist duties such as dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries and taking messages.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills, including face to face and on the telephone.
  • Demonstrates excellent computer literacy and ability to learn computer systems quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and using Email.
