Bear Cottage, Manly is part of the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. Bear Cottage. The Volunteer Manager is a unique role that provides support and oversight to the volunteer team who are an integral part of the care provided to children and families who are cared for at Bear Cottage

What you'll be doing
 

Bear Cottage, located at Manly, is a service of the SCHN. Bear Cottage provides end of life and respite care to children with progressive, life limiting illnesses and their families. 

The volunteers at Bear Cottage provide a wide range of support, enriching the program and the service provided to the children and their families. 

The Volunteer Manager is responsible for the recruitment, management, training & supervision of all volunteers at Bear Cottage. 

The Volunteer Manager will have a clear understanding of the needs of Bear Cottage and will be familiar with the different areas where volunteers are required to assist. An understanding of the needs of the families is also essential.
