- An eligibility list may be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
- Full time and Part time Candidates will be considered for a busy Switchboard at the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
This will be a 24/7 rotating roster, which includes night shift. Experience would be great but not a requirement as on the job training will be given. The first couple of months will be Monday to Friday for training purposes.
What you'll be doing
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy and high pressured environment with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide efficient use of Alcatel system switchboard console and paging system or willing to learn.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Office suite programs and the ability to learn complex relevant health systems
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and follow protocol.
