Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.

1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Paediatrics and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Demonstrated experience in the diagnosis and management of children and adolescents with inborn errors of metabolism, including those with lysosomal storage disorders.
3. Demonstrated experience in research and teaching health professionals.
4. Demonstrated success in building effective relationships with staff and consumers.
5. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work as part of an effective multi-disciplinary team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Demonstrated ability to be innovative and adapt to changing circumstances.
7. Demonstrated ability in service planning and policy development.
8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
