We are seeking passionate nurses to join our brand-new, purpose-built Acute Medical Inpatient Unit, delivering high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people aged 0–18 years. The unit includes 24 modern single rooms, designed to support safety, comfort, privacy, and effective infection control. Nurses in this unit will care for a varied and rewarding mix of paediatric specialties, including: General Medicine Gastroenterology & Transplant Renal & Transplant Endocrine Metabolic & Genetics This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and want to be part of an advanced paediatric service. What you'll be doing
 

The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families of Sydney Children's Hospital Network. 
The Registered Nurse acts as a role model by demonstrating behaviour and interacting with patients, their families and employees in a way that promotes a culture and standards that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness , Respect and Empowerment.

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Recent paediatric experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
  5. Effective time management skills
  6. Computer literacy.
  7. Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
