An exciting temporary 6-month opportunity is available for an experienced nursing leader with a passion for innovation, quality and patient safety. As the Nurse Manager Level 4 – Clinical Products Manager, you will lead the strategic management of clinical products across the health service, ensuring clinicians have access to safe, effective and evidence-based products that support exceptional patient care. Working collaboratively with clinicians, procurement teams and key stakeholders, you will drive product evaluation, standardisation, innovation and value-based healthcare initiatives that improve patient outcomes and organisational performance.

What you'll be doing

The Nurse Manager will develop an operational plan for the nursing service, identify and actively seek to develop a
staffing profile reflective of the service needs and develop and manage a nursing budget within the portfolio.
The Nurse Manager will develop the potential of staff, identify develop and facilitate a range of strategies to ensure
nursing staff have the knowledge and skills required to undertake their roles.
The Nurse Manager will undertake planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of performance within the
portfolio for individual staff and the team.
The Nurse Manager will utilise a range of communication strategies to foster shared decision making, responsibility
and accountability.

- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications and nursing leadership and management experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop, direct and lead a team to achieve organisational objectives
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to collaborate with other health professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in an environment of high volume/pressure
- Demonstrated high level communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience in change management, negotiating competing interests and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively within designated timeframes and budgets
