Are you passionate about systems training within the healthcare setting? We are seeking dynamic and motivated Training Officers with a pathology or healthcare industry background to join our team of training professionals.

What you'll be doing

The Training Officers will be engaged as part of Fusion transformation initiative including the Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SWLIMS) and works closely with the Fusion Program Team and managers and staff within NSWHP. The Training Officer will be responsible for executing the training strategy and plan under the direction of the Training Manager.
 
The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure that staff have access to high quality training and adoption support. This includes effective training delivery online and face to face training and adoption support to staff who are required to use newly implemented systems. The role will also contribute to the design and development of training materials and support training logistics and training administration/record keeping as required.

  1. Demonstrated experience delivering skills-based and/or software application training in an operational environment as well as a record of achievement in delivery of adult learning in a large and complex service environment.
  2. Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of learning materials.
  3. Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to make practical recommendations to increase engagement and adoption.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment to meet objectives to tight deadlines.
  6. Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Teams, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Current Unencumbered Class C Driver's License with the capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health Pathology service locations to deliver training and support.
  8. Experience working in an operational role within the pathology or health context relevant to the role.
