  1. Relevant tertiary/postgraduate qualifications in accountancy, commerce, finance or a related discipline and professional standing for current membership or eligibility for membership of a recognised Australian accounting body and/or extensive experience at a senior level
  2. Demonstrated extensive experience in managing business operations, providing specialist advice to senior executives, and leading the delivery of efficient and effective revenue services in a large, complex organisation
  3. Extensive experience in leading the identification, development and implementation of new revenue opportunities and process improvement initiatives
  4. Proven capacity to build, lead and motivate a team, with a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer service culture
  5. Proven ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet competing demands at a senior level
  6. Demonstrated experience in providing high level, strategic advice at a senior executive level and demonstrated experience in working and exercising judgement while remaining cognisant of the politics of situations and the competing priorities of demanding stakeholders
  7. Strong interpersonal skills including proven ability to communicate clearly, influence and negotiate required outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive partnerships with stakeholders, liaising with senior executives and managers to promote a strong financial and change management culture
  8. Sound knowledge of NSW Health systems and demonstrated ability to interpret relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. 

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.  

 

Working Rights 

This position is a permanent position. To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency. Please note: A person who is not an Australian citizen or a permanent resident is only eligible for temporary employment for a period not longer than the duration of their current visa.
