What you'll be doing
The Principal, Digital Enablement is a senior leadership role within the Digital Health of SCHN’s Strategy & Innovation Directorate. This position leads the Digital Enablement team and is accountable for delivering high-impact digital initiatives that advance SCHN’s strategic objectives.
As a key member of the Digital Health senior leadership team, the role contributes to strategic direction, operational planning, and resource management. It also plays a critical part in shaping policies and frameworks aligned with SCHN priorities, NSW Ministry of Health and eHealth strategies, and applicable legislation and standards.
Key Areas of Oversight:
- Portfolio Management – Lead the planning, execution, and governance of digital projects and initiatives.
- Training and Support – Drive capability development and ensure effective user support across digital platforms.
- Customer Engagement and Demand Management – Foster stakeholder engagement and manage demand for digital services.
- Digital Redevelopment and Refurbishment – Leading digital transformation efforts in infrastructure and service delivery
- Enterprise Architecture and Systems – Guide the design, integration and support of scalable, interoperable digital systems.
- DevOps for Digital Products – Manage the lifecycle of digital products using agile and continuous improvement practices.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, Health, Finance or Management or demonstrated experience with a proven track record in managing large programs and leading multidisciplinary teams, within a large and complex clinical ICT service environment.
- Experienced in managing ICT portfolios by planning, tracking progress, optimizing resource use across projects, and ensuring deliverables align with overall goals.
- Skilled in creating and executing digital health strategies and enterprise architecture that ensure scalable, secure, and interoperable systems, while aligning with clinical and operational goals.
