About the opportunity
Join NSW Health Pathology as a Roster Coordination Officer and become a vital part of a high-performing and customer-focused team delivering essential rostering support services across the state. In this dynamic role, you'll manage and maintain a diverse range of rostering and auditing functions through HealthRoster and StaffLink systems, ensuring timely and accurate payment for a diverse health workforce.
You’ll play a key role on our state-wide helpdesk, providing expert advice on complex rostering and award-related queries, while building strong relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels. Your attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to meet critical deadlines will directly support the effective operation of frontline health services across NSW Health Pathology

What you'll be doing
- Responsible for participating in a diverse range of rostering functions for the delivery of rostering and payroll across NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP).
- Provide a high level of customer support in maintaining accurate rostering practices across a statewide organisation.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation and external agencies and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated experience working in a customer focused and rostering/payroll environment that incorporates the use of Microsoft Office suite and/or other standard databases.
- Proven experience working in a high workload and pressure environment.
- Proven effective communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, with a focused approach in managing roster system user support with sound conflict resolution skills.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to use initiative and sound judgement, with experience in interpretation of rostering / payroll related policies and awards.
- Demonstrated experience in large volumes of data extraction and auditing in rostering systems.
