What you'll be doing
This outcome will be achieved thorough undertaking comprehensive nursing assessments, referral, providing expert consultation and educational support to staff, patients and family within Haematology Cancer Service. The CNS2 will be responsible for evaluation and supervision in the provision of complex nursing care in Haematology area of practice.

- Registered Nurse with current registration through the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification.
- Relevant Post graduate qualifications within the field and at least 3 years recent experience working within Cancer care.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in clinical research.
- Patient focused approach displaying well-developed interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with study participants (children and adults), research team members, clinical staff and laboratory personnel.
- Proficient computer skills including data entry, and proven ability to use health information systems.
