About the Role
The position is based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, a leading tertiary healthcare facility with more than 70 years of excellence in delivering high-quality patient care. Building on its longstanding commitment to serving the veteran community, the hospital now provides a comprehensive range of specialist and general health services to the diverse communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood, and surrounding areas.
     
The Cardiac Technologist will be performing Electrocardiogram, Holter study, Cardiac Catheterisation, Echocardiographic studies and will be responsible for high quality cardiac diagnostic services within the Cardiology department and hospital wards in Concord Hospital.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified with a Bachelor's degree of Medical Science or Science degree. Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Has a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac)/Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound or studying towards a recognised cardiac sonography qualification.
  • Is registered with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accreditation at a student or qualified sonographer level.
