Youth Drug and Alcohol Health Professional
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Allied Health Counselling or Psychology. Senior Psychologists must have a three year degree in psychology with a fourth year honours in psychology. For Social Work, experience as a Level 2 clinician and eligibility for membership of AASW. Occupational Therapist must have current AHPRA registration and experience as a Level 2 clinician. Counsellors must have experience as a Level 2 clinician.
- Demonstrated current clinical knowledge and experience to effectively manage clinical issues in the assessment and treatment of young people with drug & alcohol problems.
- Demonstrated experience and advanced clinical expertise and knowledge in comprehensive psychosocial assessments, counselling and therapeutic interventions, complex clinical casework, advocacy and discharge planning.
