What you'll be doing
In this Team Leader role, you will support the VAD Pharmacy Manager in the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of the NSW Statewide Voluntary Assisted Dying Pharmacy Service. You will provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients and families, lead and contribute to education and training activities, support clinicians across NSW, and assist with the operational leadership of a complex, sensitive and high‑profile statewide service.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
- Are you currently registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA with no conditions or restrictions on practice, and do you have a current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional, rural and remote areas within NSW?
- Outline your experience in a senior or leadership role within a pharmacy or multidisciplinary team, including how you have supported staff, managed competing priorities and maintained high standards of care in complex or sensitive clinical environments.
Outline your experience applying legislation in practice, including but not limited to medicines legislation. In your response, include examples from a pharmacist role within a health system, demonstrating your ability to translate legal requirements into clinical care.
