Royal North Shore Hospital, Pain Management and Research Centre
What you'll be doing
As part of our multidisciplinary team you will conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, within a biopsychosocial
framework and advise on management. You will work with the team to provide individual and group physiotherapy interventions in keeping with current evidence-based treatments for chronic and complex pain.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and current AHPRA registration. Evidence of extensive clinical experience in the delivery of physiotherapy services for patients with chronic pain conditions at a minimum of a Level 2 Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, within a biopsychosocial framework, of patients referred to the MJC PMRC and advise on appropriate management as part of the multidisciplinary team with excellent organisational, time management and documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to participate in physiotherapy interventions and clinical practices as part of a multidisciplinary team.
