HKH Emergency Department is a newly commissioned combined Adult / Paediatric Emergency Department with an amazing team of Clinical NUM’s, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Enrolled and Registered Nursing staff.
As an Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy Emergency Department, caring for Adult and Paediatric patients across a wide spectrum of trauma, surgical, medical and mental health presentations. This is a challenging and rewarding role supported by a structured training pathway designed on an individual basis by the ED CNE.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
