Registered Nurse Community Nurse

Join the dedicated Community Nursing Team at Hornsby NSHNS Community Health, Community Nursing Service is an integral part of the total health care delivery system, providing nursing care to people in the community setting. Community nursing staff work closely with each client, their carer, General Practitioner and other relevant service providers to develop a plan that is patient focussed.

What you'll be doing
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate community nursing care, in the patient home or clinic, in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse –Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- What do you understand are the role and responsibilities of the Community Registered Nurse?
- Could you please outline the clinical skills and personal attributes you have which are relevant to this role?
- What Work Health & Safety issues and Infection Control issues might you encounter working in the community environment and how will you manage it?
