We are currently seeking a Clinical Research Studies Coordinator to join our team and work on an innovative clinical trial of esketamine in patients with depression. This is a unique opportunity to work in clinical research with a novel treatment and make a real difference in the lives of patients struggling with depression.

What you'll be doing

As a Clinical Research Studies Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the clinical trial, including ethics preparation and submission, patient recruitment, data collection, and monitoring, and managing the overall study timeline.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA
  2. Experience in research, managing clinical trials or data management, with goood Understanding of legal and ethical requirements for research as per the ICHGCP; privacy laws, regulatory and ethical issues in clinical research.
  3. Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills with experience in using multiple forms of communication tools, including proficiency with use of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  4. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills and flexibility to work across the study activities of the clinical trial and meet deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated organisational and self-motivational skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Certified venepuncture skills or willingness to attain.
