Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital’s Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory ward is a 24-bed service with an 8 bed CCU. The ward caters for acute Medical, Cardiology and Respiratory patients that require close and cardiac monitoring. The department offers supported learning and professional development with a rotating roster including weekends and night shifts.
As a Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy ward environment, caring for Adult patients with a wide spectrum of Medical, Cardiac and Respiratory presentations. You will be working within an amazing team of health professionals, all working as a multi-disciplinary team to provide the best health care for our community.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
