What you'll be doing
The JMSU Workforce Officer is a multi area administration position that attends to the education, training (including orientation/mandatory components) and onboarding of all Junior Medical Officers (Intern to Postgraduate) at Royal North Shore Hospital and secondment facilities.
The JMSU Workforce Officer works closely with the DPET Director of Prevocational Officer, JMO/SMO Manager and JMO Deputy Managers.
The position works, develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including other government agencies (AHPRA, Immigration, HETI, sponsors but not limited too)
The workload of this position requires the candidate to have the ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to ensure pre determined targets and deadlines are met.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Proven secretarial skills in similar role, including diary management, training (including mandatory) management/coordination, meeting arrangements, minute taking, leave planning etc.
- Demonstrated competency and advanced knowledge with practical skills with MS office productivity software including but not limited to word processing, spread sheets, TRIM, use and maintain databases and developing electronic presentations.
Highly professional communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders
