Clinical Coder - Administration Officer

- Completion of a recognised ICD-10-AM coding course or relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
- Experience using 3M Codefinder and coding books across a range of specialties with a proven knowledge of Australian Coding Standards.
- Practical knowledge and experience in current disease classification in a tertiary teaching hospital.
- Demonstrated experience with Patient Administration system / eMR.
- Understanding of Diagnosis Related Groups as per episode funding principles and their application within the health system.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
