What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer, Multicultural Health Service is responsible for providing administrative support to the Manager, Multicultural Health Service. The position involves extensive liaison with NSLHD staff, external service providers and consumers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated computer literacy and advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publishers and Outlook, electronic procurement and corporate systems.
- High level verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including telephone skills and the ability to draft correspondence, reports, minutes, agenda and presentations with a high level of attention to detail and to a professional standard.
Demonstrated experience developing "plain language" consumer resources.
