The position will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions, such as, iprocurement, invoicing, answering general enquiries, updating patient information, ordering supplies, scheduling appointments, diary management, minutes of meetings and other tasks associated with the service. Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital - Sydney Dialysis Centre

What you'll be doing
The Department Secretary is responsible in providing secretarial support for the departmental areas of NSLHD. The position provides administrative support including, booking, billings, diary management, transcription of reports, collation and analysis of documentation however is not limited to the duties. These positions are required to supply support to a multidisciplinary area and are not limited to a specific speciality. The position is to provide support, and advice for the smooth administrative functioning with in the required area under the direction of the Manager of the corresponding level and the direction of the Patient Services and Information Unit.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing high level support in a busy work environment with heavy workload. Certificate III in Health Administration or experience in health administration roles.

     

  3. Demonstrated capacity to work under minimal supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
