What you'll be doing
 
The Executive Assistant provides high-level organisational and administrative support to member(s) of the NSW Health Pathology executive and proactively ensures that all portfolio administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

  1. Extensive experience in providing highly organised and efficient executive administrative support including diary management at an executive level and the provision of secretariat support for meetings

  2. Advanced proficiency in using PC based software at an advanced level including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations.

  3. High level communication skills, including sound interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to liaise with staff and health professionals at all levels and work cohesively within teams

  4. Proven ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement and prioritise workload to respond and adapt to changing priorities and demands in a multidisciplinary work environment.

  5. Sound understanding of the demands and environment of the health system, including the need for confidentiality and discretion in issues management, preferably with experience working in a similar role in a complex organisation.

  6. High level ability to develop, implement and/or enhance office administrative systems and processes.
