What you'll be doing
To ensure optimum and efficient utilisation of administrative services provided by the Patient Services and Information Unit and other related services across the RNSRH. 
The position is responsible for the provision of a managing relief and employment related issues. The Administrative Floor/Area Manager is responsible for managing the day to day administrative team, including the rostering of staff, clerical and administrative duties and to provide direction, support and feedback for administrative team members to facilitate delivery of quality outcomes in the achievement of Patient Services and Information Unit objectives. This position is required to work closely with the Ambulatory care Manager and Patient Services and Information Manager in implementing strategic initiatives designed to increase private patient revenue and ensure that new directions and strategies are implemented efficiently.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Demonstrated experience in staff management with an ability to lead team performance to achieve service goals and provision of excellent customer service.

     

  2. Experience in managing Outpatient clinic and inpatient ward type services
  3. Knowledge/Experience of billing practices and financial classifications and staff rosters.
