About the role

Northern NSW Local Health District have two positions for an Allied Health Clinician (Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist / Speech Pathologist) to join their Brighter Beginnings Program 1 x North (Tweed, Byron, Murwillumbah & Ballina) & 1 x South (Lismore, Casino, Grafton & Maclean). This program is a collaboration between NSW Health and NSW Department of Education to provide health and development screening to children in early childhood education and care services as part of First 2000 Days. The team will work collaboratively with key partners to deliver, report, evaluate and continuously improve the program across the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).  In addition to health and development screening: information, education, care navigation and referral pathways will be developed and communicated with parents/carers and early childhood educators to support the health and development needs of children before they commence school.
