Remuneration: $246,059 per annum - $332,434 per annum full time equivalent depending on experience
Hours Per Week: 40

Providing clinical governance and supporting clinical quality and safety, clinical key performance indicators, the implementation and evaluation of clinical service plans and models of care, best practice and clinical areas as well as system improvements to ensure the highest quality of care and safety for consumers.

Where you will be working
The Northern NSW Local Health District extends from Tweed Heads in the north, to Tabulam and Urbenville in the west, and to Nymboida and Grafton in the south. Northern NSW Mental Health has a number of inpatient units for adults, older people, and young people located at Lismore, Byron Bay and Tweed Valley.

Selection Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
- Demonstrated current clinical experience as a Senior Medical Officer in Psychiatry at the role delineation of the service
- Demonstrated recent leadership and management experience with the ability to work with and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills reflective of the NSW Health CORE values, with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
- Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
