About the role
In this role the successful candidate is responsible for expert clinical organisation, coordination, leadership, education and consultancy services in skin integrity within inpatient facilities across Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Providing a complex and expansive clinical consultancy service for the prevention and management of all pressure injuries across the district. Working collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders to provide expert advice which enables improved practice and systemic change in relation to skin integrity. Review practice standards, policies and procedures that relate to specialty and expert knowledge. Providing expert advice and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of activities to support the evidenced based management of skin integrity. This includes the monitoring and auditing of resources and equipment, to ensure cost effective and efficient, appropriate use of same.

In this role you are required to provide clinical support services, including general assistance in wards, cleaning duties and transfers of patients, equipment and supplies at the facility.
