Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the AASW
  2. Experience working with women and children, including demonstrated skills in advocacy, mediation and conflict resolution
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of issues related to domestic violence, adolescent pregnancy and drugs in pregnancy
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and applications of child protection guidelines
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of grief and loss issues
  6. Demonstrated ability to time manage efficiently
  7. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi- disciplinary team
  8. High level of written and oral communication skills and basic computer skills
