Nepean Hospital is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nurse to join our General Surgery Unit, where you'll be part of a dynamic, patient-centred team making a real difference every day. This position on offer is working 4 days per week.
This role will see you deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Working closely with a Multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for pre and post-operative care, patient assessments, wound care, medication administration and supporting recovery and discharge planning.

What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
