Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Current Registration to practice as Division 1 Registered Midwife with AHPRA and hold a Current driver's licence
- Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery. Current skills in Antenatal, Birthing and Postnatal care, with previous large facility midwifery experience
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide woman centered care
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week and on call availability
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of working with Aboriginal families and their communities
