What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity is available for an Administration Officer to join the Medical Imaging team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will provide high level administration and reception support to the  Medical Imaging department by providing professional, efficient  services to patients, their family /carers, visitors and staff visiting the Medical Imaging department.

This position involves booking appointments, reception, registering patients, data entry, general administration and clerical duties.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.


Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
 

Selection Criteria to be Addressed:

  1. Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and problem solving ability.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a frontline customer service role with the ability to effectively use problem solving and negotiation skills.
  3. Possess a positive attitude and sound work ethic whilst adapting to changing work processes and environments.
  4. Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidently, and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and urgency.
  5. The ability to deal with conflict resolution in a diverse and changing environment.
  6. Availability to work rotating roster between 7:00am and 9:00pm Monday to Friday, 7.30am and 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday, occasional cover for Blue Mountains Medical Imaging department.
