About the role 

With your knowledge, skills and experience, you play a pivotal role as the Statewide OHFFSS Coordinator for NSW. Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme (OHFFSS) provides outsourced dental care to the public across NSW. This is both an exciting as well as challenging role in liaising with a host of external stakeholders comprising of public and private oral health care organisations, as well as patients seeking dental services. The Statewide OHFFSS Coordinator provides first line of contact to patients and practitioners through the operation of a contact centre. The position resides within The Centre for Oral Health Strategy (COHS) Ministry of Health. 

  

This is a permanent full-time position as an Administration Officer Level 4 starting salary from $75,176.80 - $76,897.65 plus Super, with a 38 hour work week. 

  

What you’ll be doing 

  • Manage and maintain up-to-date records, reports and database, ensure follow-up actions with internal and external stakeholders via email, meetings and phone

  • Assist the Senior Policy Analyst in developing an administrative support plan in successfully implementing the Scheme and associated schedule Fees 

  • Provide consistent high quality customer service as the first point of contact via phone with patients, practitioners and Local Health Districts 

  • Planning and organising the quarterly Contact Centre Managers Meetings and preparing the agenda for each meeting and workshop

  • Monitor compliance of participating dental practitioners and businesses with all mandatory requirements identified in the OHFFSS policy and procedures

  

About you: 

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:   

  • A degree or extensive working experience within public health

  • Desirable experience working in a contact centre, customer service

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written 

  • Good planning and organising skills, knowledgeable on policies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using technology
