About this role
You'll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.

We are seeking a motivated Administrative Officer to support the delivery of program initiatives for RRR-CTEP. You’ll work closely with Principal Project Officers and the Director – Research Methods and Clinical Trials at the Office for Health and Medical Research, providing high-level administrative support across a range of busy projects.

This role will also support the financial requirements of reporting and administrative tasks associated with delivering the RRR-CTEP program.

Crown Clerk Grade 5/6, starting salary from $99,938 - $110,271 per annum plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week. The role works in a hybrid working environment, with 3 days per week at the office in St Leonards.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain and update administrative practices, systems, and procedures to ensure RRR-CTEP operates efficiently and in line with business policies.

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including meeting management, database maintenance, and secretariat duties to meet critical timelines

  • Review and manage correspondence for approval, ensuring quality and seeking clarification as needed.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build collaborative relationships and support program objectives.

  • Assist with financial reporting and administrative tasks to ensure accurate tracking of program expenditure and compliance with reporting requirements.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks and activities.

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration Support (or similar), and/or substantial experience in administrative support roles at the executive level.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare well-structured material and communicate technical information clearly.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, dynamic team environment.

  • Sound understanding of technology relevant to the work unit, and ability to support systems improvement initiatives.

  • A commitment to delivering equitable access to healthcare and supporting innovative projects in rural, regional and remote communities.
