About the role
The Content Producer is responsible for creating video content that informs the public and NSW Health system of important health messages for the NSW Ministry of Health.
This role supports the Senior Content Creator, Content Coordinator and Social Media Manager by creating and developing high quality video content that is clear in its messaging, engaging and meets industry standards.

What you'll be doing
- Create social first content that resonates with target audiences and delivers clear health messages.
- Use your knowledge and experience as a content creator to deliver on creative briefs.
- Film projects, ensuring lighting and audio meet industry standards and requirements of the brief.
- Working with the social media team to identify social media trends and formats that can align to key public health issues and audiences. Work with the team to produce and amplify these.
- Offer real time feedback and direction to onscreen talent to create engaging content.
- Edit accessible videos that meet brief requirements, NSW brand guidelines and technical requirements across a wide range of mediums.
- Identify new opportunities, technology and social media channels that will enhance campaigns and strategies.
- Provide recommendations and advice to stakeholders regarding effective content creation and targeting audiences for channels like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Over 2 years of experience as a content creator or videographer, managing projects from ideation to delivery.
- Ability to be a dynamic social media content creator and contribute ideas to the team that are on-trend and connected to key public health outcomes.
- Knowledge of post-production with the ability to craft a story for final delivery using editing software.
- The ability to work in a small collaborative team environment.
- Effective project manager who is comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve communication objectives.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
