Murrumbidgee and Southern Local Health Districts (LHD) are looking for a passionate Tobacco Compliance Coordinator, to join the Public Health Unit in this newly created shared service role. You will join the Public Health Unit who are dedicated to protecting the health of our communities.
About the role:
As the Tobacco Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice and support in relation to tobacco and e-cigarette control
- Planning, coordinating and overseeing the performance of compliance related activities include conducting and reporting of covert and overt inspections
- Collection and analysis of compliance monitoring and enforcement activity data relating to the Smoke-Free Environment Act 2000

About You
- Demonstrate extensive experience in regulatory and compliance activity including interpretation of legislation
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and coordinate a team
- Have prior knowledge or experience of implementing education and enforcement activities in relation to tobacco control
