Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist who is ready for a new adventure. As the Physiotherapist, you will be working as part of a dynamic and supportive physiotherapist and multidisciplinary allied health team at Griffith Health Service. About the role:

The Physiotherapy department at Griffith Base Hospital is looking for a hardworking and team-oriented Physiotherapist to join our team. The position is rotational and covers a wide range of areas including acute cardiorespiratory, acute surgical, critical care, rehabilitation, and orthopaedic/ musculoskeletal outpatients. Our team currently consists of around 6 Physiotherapists who play a crucial role in the hospital and community settings. The hospital and outpatient departments are modern and spacious.

As the Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering comprehensive Physiotherapy services
  • Collaborating within a team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones
  • Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • An in-depth understanding and ability to provide physiotherapy services in a curious and empathetic way
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Physiotherapy and a current registration with AHPRA.
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise services where necessary
