What you'll be doing

  • Provide a range of workforce administrative and clerical support services.
  • Support and maintain the electronic HR systems.
  • Store, retrieve and archive files.
  • Draft accurate and concise reports, documents, and correspondence in accordance with FWLHD policies and procedures.
  • Manage RHWIS applications, data processing, and verification to support timely recruitment.
  • Respond to applicant queries, promote package benefits, and ensure compliance.

About the Far West LHD

The Far West Local Health District is one of 15 LHDs under NSW Health, providing high quality public health services to the communities in far west NSW. Our vision is to create excellence in rural and remote healthcare.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to a range of workforce enquiries in a busy and complex organisation.
  • Certificate IV in Human Resources or preparedness to undertake.
  • Previous experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook as well as modern human resource information systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving ability within the duties of the role.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under broad supervision as well as within a team in a high-volume work environment
