Where you will be working:

This is an opportunity to work for the largest employer in the region which services a population of more than 900,000 across the Hunter, New England and Lower Mid North Coast areas. John Hunter Hospital is a Level 6, tertiary referral, major trauma and teaching hospital and is the largest hospital in the Hunter New England Local Health District.


What you will be doing:

As a Theatre Wardsperson, you will play an important role in ensuring Theatres run on time. You will collect patients and deliver them to Theatres in a timely manner, assist with cleaning and linen and basic patient care.


Training and Support:
You will undergo a comprehensive six-week training program, receiving personalised one-on-one guidance from experienced mentors. Our program includes thorough hospital orientation to ensure you are fully prepared for your role.
Ongoing training is a key part of our commitment to your professional development, with regular one-on-one sessions and performance conversations to support your growth.
