What You'll Be Doing:

The Support Services Assistant provides relief and assistance through provision of key Corporate Support Services including waste management, receiving dock/warehouse, portering, and the linen service to support effective service delivery and the patient journey.

Selection Criteria:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/stores or similar environment with knowledge of stock control and store operations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with previous customer service experience and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Good time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously when required with a commitment to getting the job done efficiently.
- Sound working knowledge and demonstrated application of Work, Health, and Safety requirements within a support services environment.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office package (or similar) and previous experience with use of electronic stock ordering systems such as iProcurement Oracle.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team with a flexible approach to work practices.
- Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
- Current Drivers License and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
