What you'll be doing
To provide services in the Central Sterilization Services Department within Prince of Wales Hospital or Sydney and Sydney Eye Hospital, with responsibilities for handling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilization, and circulation of Reusable Medical Devices throughout the Hospital. To provide appropriate reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices utilized in the Central Sterilization Services Department in accordance with relevant National and International Standards and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Sterilising Services Certificate III or relevant experience in sterilising service or combination of both.
- Basic understanding of the workings of Sterilising Department and/or Sterile Storage Areas.
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work a 7 day, 24 hour rotating roster
