What you will bring to the role:
- Degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive and advanced experience in paediatric clinical services, including: Assessment, planning and evaluating Speech Pathology interventions in working with children presenting with difficulties in feeding and/or communication development.
- Demonstrated competent clinical decision making both independently and in a multidisciplinary team regarding service delivery for clients and their families
- Demonstrated high level communication skills both interpersonal and written including ability to work with families from low socioeconomic backgrounds and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical and administrative demands. Computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records, word processing and databases.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical coordination and supervision in paediatric speech pathology
- Demonstrated ability to lead, implement and evaluate quality improvement and/or research focused on improving client outcomes
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the willingness to use for work purposes.
