  • The Ministry of Health is looking for a Senior Project Officer to join the Asset Data & Information team within the Infrastructure and Asset Management division. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of asset management in one of the largest public health systems in Australia.
  • As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex asset management projects. Your work will directly support NSW Health in managing and optimising its valuable asset portfolio.

About this role

As a Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating asset data management, developing and enhancing PowerBI dashboards, integrating various data systems, and providing expert advice to stakeholders on asset management projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, improving reporting processes, and supporting evidence-based decision-making to optimise asset performance.

You will also be instrumental in leading the development of long-term strategies for asset lifecycle planning and contributing to projects that impact the operational and strategic goals of the Ministry of Health. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in asset management and data analysis in a rewarding role with significant impact.

 

Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate asset management projects, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Lead the development of PowerBI dashboards for asset performance monitoring and reporting, presenting data in a clear and actionable format for stakeholders.
  • Integrate and analyse data from multiple systems to inform strategic decision-making, ensuring that asset data is aligned across different platforms.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on asset-related issues and project progress, managing relationships and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline asset management processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the maintenance of asset data integrity, including identifying discrepancies and leading data validation efforts.
