Senior Program Manager,

Critical Workforce Education Project

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) as a Senior Program Manager, Critical Workforce Education Project in the Professional Practise Interprofessional Collaboration (PPIC) Portfolio.

The NSW Ministry of Health has identified Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicists (DIMPs) as a small but critical workforce and a priority workforce for NSW Health. The Senior Program Manager will lead the development, coordination and implementation of a targeted education and training program to support the state-wide delivery of the DIMP Education Support Program. This role will include establishing partnerships with key stakeholders and meet expectations that contribute to the overarching strategic goals of NSW Health.

The role is based in Sydney at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards in a modern, purpose-built 5 star rated green campus that is well serviced by public transport and access to public parking.   1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in health (e.g. allied health, nursing) with clinical experience including demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge of education and training within a healthcare setting.
  2. Demonstrated experience in management of complex education projects and activities including capacity to lead education needs analysis within available resources.
  3. Demonstrated high level experience in educational delivery, development and evaluation of education and resources for health professionals focused on evidence-based practice application and principles of adult learning.
  4. Demonstrate high level experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships, interagency relationships and stakeholders including advanced skills in influencing and negotiating.
  5. Excellent oral, written communication and consultation skills including demonstrated skills and experience in facilitation and presentations.
  6. Demonstrated excellent project management in line with project management principles with skills in problem solving, analysis, evaluation and reporting.
  7. Proficiency in utilising technology for educational delivery. Demonstrated ability to use platforms for education delivery, and demonstrated ability in using Video Conferencing business tools, records management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
