What you'll be doing
Facilitate and support health service planning and projects to ensure alignment of clinical and non clinical support
services with the needs of the community.



Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or demonstrated experience in health services planning or project management.
  2. Understanding/experience of planning processes, tools, methodology with relevant health planning experience.
  3. Understanding of the health service system and the ability to apply this knowledge to analysis of complex data sets, trends and and projections and communicate findings and recommendations to a range of audiences (pubic, political, professional).
  4. Ability to develop, communicate and co-ordinate systems, processes, and frameworks to facilitate the formulation, development and review of plans, programs and strategies including relevant consultation processes both internal and external.
  5. Ability to "horizon scan" and assess the health services and business environments to identify emerging issues and trends, and from this formulate and provide professional strategic advice on implications for the planning and development of clinical and non-clinical support services.
  6. Change and implementation management skills, with demonstrated ability to problem solve, plan and deliver projects/ work on time and to a high standard to assist in developing and implementing plans and frameworks.
  7. High level interpersonal communication, verbal, written and negotiation skills, to ensure that all planning processes are inclusive of a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and meet the strategic objectives.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
