An exciting part time opportunity is available on the Central Coast for a motivated Radiographer Level 2 to join the committed BreastScreen NSW Northern Sydney Central Coast (NSCC) team. We will provide the training and support to develop your mammography skills. If you wish to join this growing Radiographer team across the Central Coast sites with the flexibility of working part time this will be a perfect match for you.

Where you'll be working
The Radiographer will work across multiple Central Coast sites and Hornsby, if needed for BreastScreen NSW NSCC. Training and education may be at Northern Sydney site, Royal North Shore Hospital.

What you'll be doing

To provide the daily provision of mammographic services relating to all breast imaging and related client care for BreastScreen NSW NSCC. This includes ensuring screening and assessment targets are met within the budget and under the policies, procedures and guidelines of the Breast Screen NSW program and NSW Health and the National Accreditation Standards (NAS).

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Current Registration with AHPRA MRPBA. Current NSW EPA radiation licence.
  2. Applicants must be female (exemption is claimed under Section 31 (2) (h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act.)
  3. Demonstrated ability to work and contribute both in an unsupervised capacity and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Professional manner and ability to accept responsibility and problem-solve.
  5. Evidence of commitment to actively pursuing continue professional development (CPD), including holding a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or willingness to undertake.
