Salary per hour:

Psychologist: $37.70 - $55.17

Registered Nurse: $35.33 - $49.60

Health Professional Level 1/2: $35.78 - $51.0

Where you'll be working
Ryde Community Mental Health Centre, 39-41 Fourth Avenue, Eastwood

Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.

The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more. 

Construction commenced in early 2023 and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.

What you'll be doing

The Multi- Disciplinary Team provides Trauma Informed, Recovery Oriented services including assessment, treatment and individualised care coordination to Older People whose lives are impacted by Mental Illness.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

    1. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA) registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership to the AASW.
    2. Demonstrated skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessment and management, including assessment, risk management and care coordination.
    3. Demonstrated capacity to comprehensively assess and manage risk associated with suicide, deliberate self-harm , reputational risk and risk associated with violence, exploitation and abuse.
    4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    5. Demonstrated understanding of the Recovery Model of care within Mental Health and the ability to implement and evaluate these care processes within the context of clinical care planning.
    6. Demonstrated experience working in Community Mental Health services and a demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
    7. Current NSW Drivers Licence.
