About the Role
Step into a fulfilling career with the Tablelands Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as a Mental Health Professional. In this role, you’ll be essential in delivering comprehensive assessment and care coordination for children, adolescents, and their families grappling with mental health challenges.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, benefiting from extensive support through clinical supervision and mentorship from the CAMHS Clinical Leader and Tablelands Mental Health Team Manager. Where you'll be working
You’ll be based at either the Glen Innes or Tenterfield Community Health Centre, seamlessly integrating into our service delivery framework and ensuring accessibility for those we serve.

About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Your expertise in providing high-quality, person-centered care to young people aged 0-18 years will be key. You’ll excel in mental health assessments, deliver brief interventions, and connect young people and their carers to essential support services for managing severe and complex mental health issues.

  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies. 
  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
