Where you’ll be working:
Maitland, located halfway between Newcastle and the Hunter Valley vineyards, is known for its rich heritage, emerging food scene, and stunning landscapes. The Palliative Care service, located offsite from Maitland Hospital, is a small, dedicated multidisciplinary team that plays a vital role in offering compassionate end-of-life care and support to the community. 


The Opportunity:
The Administration Support role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of palliative care services by coordinating and facilitating essential administrative tasks. 
This role is deeply patient focused, prioritising excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Whilst also supporting clinicians through managing patient schedules and ensuring the accuracy of patient information. 

About You:
You will be highly organised and able to work effectively in a job-share capacity.
  • You will be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • While prior health experience is beneficial, full training will be provided.
